Alstor has operated on the Polish IT market since 1987. The company was founded even before the great political changes that had taken place at the turn of 1988/89. Today it is one of the oldest existing private computer companies in Poland.
As Initel-Serwis, as it was known then, our core business was based on IT hardware services. In 1992, we signed our first distribution contract with Fujitsu, initially for printers. A year later, the company started cooperation with two well-known manufacturers: Toshiba and Emulex. Year by year the spectrum of our products grew and evolved to storage solutions, and finally in 1997 the company adopted a new name – Alstor (from English „all storage”).
Today Alstor is regarded as a Value Added Distributor, and its activities go far beyond the standard sales.
In Alstor’s portfolio, there are solutions from reputable, world-class manufacturers. Simultaneously, we offer our Partners real substantive support that is an important determinant of our competence. The company has developed technical department, which employs specialized engineers in selected fields. With in-depth knowledge of our products, we actively support the sales department in constructing the most complex offers with tailor made solutions fulfilling the real clients’ needs.
Our employees have numerous certificates attesting their high qualifications. Alstor, as being one of the few European distributors, has in its team, an engineer with the title of Avocent Certified Deployment Specialist (ACDS) in the range of DSView product line and Avocent Certified Planning Specialist (ACPS) in the line of AMIE. Our specialists have completed courses in Hitachi AMS 2000 Family Installation, Configuration and Support, Replication Fundamentals for Hitachi Modular Storage, Simpana System Engineering and Support, Simpana System Administration and numerous authorized training authorization manufacturers such as Overland Storage, Tandberg Data and Infortrend.

In addition to the commercial offer, we tender our partners detailed consultations in terms of designing investments for their endusers. We also provide them with full service including installation, implementation and testing of the implemented solutions. Partners can benefit from a wide range of trainings. We also lead trainings on specific solutions allowing customers to take full advantage of their functionality – they are carried out at the request of customers and meet their expectations.
We offer full service to companies that took a decision to purchase products from our portfolio. These are both a warranty, post-warranty service as well as a wide range of additional service options, tailored to the requirements and needs of individual clients.
